Join this year’s winner of Intu's Christmas Star search, 10 year old Brooke Cornwell, who will be pressing the big red button on Thursday 12 November 2015 to officially light up the centre and kick off an amazing firework display (which can be viewed through the glass roof of Intu).

There will be lots of fun for all the family, starting from 4pm including appearances from stilt walking elf’s, storytelling rag dolls, Jack Frost and a hula hooping Ms Claus and of course Intu’s kids clubs, very own Secret Agent H.

Children of all ages will also be able to enjoy activities such as balloon modelling, face painting, games and crazy mirrors, a hair bar, with quick and easy hair extensions, plaits and braids, a craft area where little ones can make festive head boppers and 'Santa stop here' door hangers.

The main event will start at 6pm, where the host, Richard Short will be joined by not only this year’s Christmas Star, Brooke but also Watford FC players and the cast from this year’s Watford Palace Theatre's pantomime.

There will also be entertainment from The Pump House Theatre, Watford Academy, The Pauline Quirke Academy and Watford's Rock Chorus Choir

This Year’s Christmas Star
Brooke Cornwall is one of just 125 people in the UK born with Diamond Blackfan Anaemia, meaning her bone marrow cannot produce enough red blood cells to carry oxygen around her body.

She's fought for her life on numerous occasions, shocking doctors with her will to survive, even after being 'an hour from death' and spending 46 days on life support.
