Guys – dads or not – were invited to chill in the Man Cave over the Father’s Day weekend, where they could play Xbox video games and table football whilst enjoying tasty snacks, from Thursday to Sunday. And it was all totally free of charge!

Many were on shopping trips with their families, who let them take a break for some time out in the Man Cave, in between enjoying all the brilliant men’s stores intu Watford has to offer. Other dads chose to bring their kids in with them to do arts and crafts or have a go at table football!

Vicki Costello, general manager at intu Watford, said: “It was an honour to be able to help families to say thank you to the fabulous men in their lives, by setting up this ultimate chill out spot. The guys loved it – and so did the kids! It’s great to be able to create a positive impact on the community with events like these, thanks to our strong relationships with partners, retailers and shoppers.”

Families also took the chance to feast on Father’s Day weekend treats at intu Watford’s 26 places to eat, and many dads got to spend their Father’s Day intu Gift Card on men’s fashion, electronics or books – or whatever they’re into.
