Success as Charity Reopens Shops

Six of the eleven Peace Hospice Care charity shops have reopened following closure due to Covid-19.

The six shops have a huge number of donations as supporters look to support the charity during these challenging times. With queues to get in, staff at the shops have been overwhelmed by the support of the local community.

Valerie Moore, Retail Operations Manager at Peace Hospice Care, said: “The response we have had to our shops reopening has been overwhelming and it is incredible to have already seen such success. We are so grateful for all the support we have had over the last few months and would like to thank everyone who has made a donation or bought anything from one of our shops”.

Shops are open Monday – Saturday from 10am-4pm, with Bushey only open from Thursday – Saturday. The Hospice is asking those wishing to donate to phone ahead to check that the shop is able to take donations at the time. Phone numbers are listed on the charity’s website.
