Mummy I Ramble - What's on in Watford

With the DIY out of the way this weekend we are venturing out for a little family time… the twins are just about settled into their new year at school and I’m nearly there juggling work and mummyhood.

Super dad is back from working away so this make organising family weekends all the easier.
After school this afternoon we popped down to Holy Rood Church to have a little wander around as they have opened their doors to the public – it’s a beautiful building although I may be biased as I was christened there and even better married there. Nothing beats a bit of history!

Saturday is a day of food shopping, laundry and housework I am afaid. I know you feel my pain, lets hope super dad gets my hints to take the twinies down to Vibe 107.6 FM’s Party by the Pond on the Parade, for a few hours in the avo.

I can’t deny it’s a struggle to give up my Sunday lie in – yes, before you know it, it’ll be 9am (gone are the days of a lie in being past 9.01am). Needless to say, somehow our morning will be gone and at midday-ish we will be heading to The Green in Croxley for the 2014 Carters Steam Fair with the ‘Classic on the Green’ vintage car show. Free entry and a cost for the rides, I personally cannot wait to have a little gander at the beautiful cars of yonder years and I know the twins will be on every ride with their eyes spinning in their heads.

Enjoy your weekend folks, have a tipple or two for me and we’ll catch up next week. Mummy out an' over! (I’m really not down with the kids!)
