January usually means New Years resolutions, and for many that's all about getting fit. The thought of long runs or cycle rides might be a turn off, so why not look for something a little different?

Why not start gentle with Yoga for Beginners at West Watford Community Centre on Tuesday nights from January 22nd between 6.45pm and 7.45pm? You will learn traditional Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on posture, breathing and relaxation. And once you’ve mastered that, the same venue on the same night follows on with Yoga for Improvers.

Sticking with the eastern theme, the West Watford Community Centre are also offering Tai Chi, which has been shown to improve balance, flexibility and increased mental strength.

Fancy a Dance? You can get fit and raise money for charity with Strictly Come Hospice 2013. Lessons start on Sunday 6th January,for you to join in with the Latin sensation! Join as a couple of as a single, and be paired with a partner whilst learning how to rumba and samba your way to dancing excellence.
