The digital switchover is coming to Watford in April as the traditional TV signal is set to be switched off.
This means that without a new set top box (on older televisions as most new televisions will have Freeview etc as standard) then you will no longer be able to receive the channels as usual via your rooftop aerial.
So, are you ready for the changeover?
If not, don’t worry because help is at hand when the Digital UK Roadshow comes to Watford on Sunday 29th January outside Burger King on the High Street.
If you want to know when the switchover is happening and find out how you can go digital, there will be advisors on hand to let you know.
Some people are eligible to get their TV converted by the Switchover Help Scheme. If you are aged over 75 or disabled, then look out for the advisors in purple who will be able to answer all your questions.
There will also be specially trained advisors on hand to offer technical demonstrations about how to retune your TV and install a set top box and you can even meet Al, the robot star of Digital UK’s advertising campaign.
Don’t panic about digital - come down and see the team at the Digital Switchover in Watford with any questions and they will make sure you have no problems.
