Well I've just spent 2 hours reviewing the Government's presentation proposing the new HS2 development through South Northants and Warwickshire. The "Facts" on display are so misleading it is quiet shocking. This isn't a consultation - its propaganda.

Costa Coffee will move into the old Woolworths in Warwick. This is not the "big draw" that most people were hoping for. Now the town still hasn't filled the void that Woolworths left, and we have yet another coffee shop competing in a saturated market!

Warwick District Council are proposing to increase car parking charges around Warwick District even further in April 2009. This would make it fives years in a row that car parking fees around the Warwick District will have risen.

Warwick's brand new bus station will be ready 2 months ahead of schedule and will be operational by end of October 08.
The good news is that the new station on West Gate car park in Warwick Town Centre will mean buses no longer need to loop through W
