Warrington Museum and Art Gallery
Warrington Museum and Art Gallery recently reopened after major refurbishment works which saw this great local attraction's historic galleries and collections updated. Visitors to the museum can now take a prehistoric adventure, wander through the atmospheric Victorian galleries and marvel at the weird and wonderful object from around the world.
Arts, Sports and Activities
Warrington Borough Council's Sports Engagement Team work closely with a number of partners and organisation to develop an entertaining and creative programme of activities for people of all ages. These activities include volunteering in the local community, annual events, the English Half Marathon and involvement in the London 2012 Olympics.
Walton Hall and Gardens
Walton Hall is set in 30 acres of beautiful parkland and is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the town, whilst still only being minutes away from transport links. The hall is steeped in connection with Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Caroll and it's wildlife, gardens, golf club, zoo and outdoor games make it the perfect day out for the whole family.
