I was very impressed and liked the personal,friendly atmosphere within the cafe itself. It is small and therefore very intimate inside and even when it gets busy it never gets too noisy as it can in some places. The staff always do their best to make you feel at home and are prepared to listen to your individual requirements (and follow them) if you decide to order a cake for a birthday or other special occasion.

I am glad I finally tracked this place down after trying their pasteis de nata at a cafe in Wanstead. It has better and fresher pastries than anywhere I have tried around Lambeth.
