Oooooo, I LOVE this butchers - not only do they have the friendliest service around, but they have amazing meats and homemade goodies. People travel from far around and I can see why - they are simply the best!
Rich, Ashley and the gang make you feel so welcome when you go in. The meat and produce is superb and great value for money. So much better than meat from a supermarket.
Great family run butchers. Lovely friendly staff, always make me laugh and most importantly the meat and produce are great quality at a great price. Will get you any cut you need and give advice on how to cook and prepare it.
I came to live in the Butts area 4 years ago, I thought I would check the local Butcher shop out, I found it friendly and the meat on show was looking delicious, I noticed that they did home made items too, I became a regular from then, I always compliment the meat I had during the week, and they are always politely well mannered.....Tina M
Had a turkey and ham joint for Christmas and both were excellent. The turkey was very moist and the ham joint very tasty. Would thoroughly recommend this butcher.
Richard and Ashley's meat is the best you will find in Walsall and they are both great value for money on the entertainment front as a bonus. Highly recommended for produce and advice.
What a pleasure it is to visit Hills butchers! Whether it's for a few sausages ("porky-workies"), gorgoeus steaks or an exquisite joint of English lamb, it's just an experience. Richard and Ashley give the friendlest welcome, which develops over time into taking the mickey out of you (where appropriate) and genuine warmth. The queues down the street (literally) may be a bind on the run up to christmas, but I wouldn't go anywhere else for my meat. Five stars. *****. A+++++ (as they say on eBay)
We find the staff very helpful and friendly and the quality of the meat to be excellent.
Fantastic friendly butcher where nothing is too much trouble and you have a very personal touch. Product is second to none. No smelly plastic wrapping only fresh well looked after meat. Faggots and pies are home made and excellent.Marinated meat is available as well home cured bacon and plenty of barbeque selection.Have been using this butcher for over 15 years and never been disappointed.

In my opinion this family run butchers is the best in town. The Richard and Ashley are both highly skilled butchers and nothing is to much trouble for them. They have a fine selection of top quality meats and other produce on sale. If you need something that they have not got, they can generally get it for you. In house pies and pasties, top notch faggots and advice on preparing the food as well. If you are after a decent friendly butcher, whose goods way out class the supermarkets then this is the one for you.
