First visit today and we were welcomed by a young gentleman and shown to our table and we were asked what drinks we would like to have. We had already booked a gentleman’s afternoon tea in advance so drank our cup of tea while waiting for our food to arrive. I must say that the parlour did have a feel of the 1940’s with regards to the furniture and decoration. Value for money is slightly questionable as I feel that the portion size was a little small for what you pay. Internet page needs to be updated as the prices are displayed at a lower price. I found the parlour very clean tidy and staff were attentive.

Visited Pigeon Parlour on a Tuesday having received an afternoon tea voucher as a gift. The place is amazing, beautifully themed in the 1940’s style wit Max Bygraves singing gently in the background. Food was presented on beautiful authentic crockery, service was excellent, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and I cannot recommend it enough.

What an amazing quirky little tea room. So much to see, with lots of vintage items filling the rooms and it was lovely to see some of their past family members, proudly displayed on the walls. It gave this little cafe a very cosy and warm feeling. They got a good range of hot/ cold drinks, sandwiches, breakfast specials, children's menu , lunch specials and of course their yummy scones! . For The Pigeon Parlour Afternoon Tea, it's recommended that you pre book the afternoon teas , in advance . I find that out yesterday , by just turning up but the 2 lovely ladies were able to make me 3 afternoon teas at such very short notice, so thank you both again, because they were truly amazing !! . The food is so fresh and very tasty with plenty of tea ,and we loved the heart shape Marmalade sandwich, In memory of our late Queen ❤ beautiful ! . I'm looking forward to now bringing my 2 girls and also for your Christmas time .

A really cute 1940s themed tea room with delicious food and very warm and friendly service. Been a few times now and it's ace. It can get busy so best to book. It's the sort of place you'd expect to see in the Cotswolds or Kings Heath. A real gem for Great Barr and the scones are amazing. Definitely have the scones!!Food: 5/5  |  Service: 5/5  |  Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

We visited Pigeons Parlour on Sunday 26 February to celebrate our brother in laws birthday. Along with family were a number of friends, around 23 in total. We were greeted by the host on arrival and having travelled a few miles were grateful to be shown the toilets, which were clean and tidy. Our afternoon tea was served and it comprised a selection of sandwiches, scone with jam and cream, Victoria sandwich, shortbread biscuit and an After Eight mint. Tea, coffee and any other drinks were freely available, our cups were never empty. The music created a lovely atmosphere and the decoration was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. A lovely place to visit, shame it's not closer to us.

This is a lovely little place for a light lunch, afternoon tea or coffee and cake with a friend.
Not busy on a Thursday afternoon in January, but times are difficult for lots of people, so I shouldn't be surprised.
Beautifully decorated with 40's memorabilia, perfect to take a loved one suffering with dementia, so many bits of old stuff to view and also photos.
Not the cheapest eatery, but fresh, well presented food and friendly owner and staff.
Hope custom increases for you, I meet a friend halfway between our current homes, so travel a distance otherwise I'd visit more often.
