Darlaston All Active is based at the former Garringtons Working Mens Club in Darlaston, Walsall and is the ideal venue for private hire events and functions including:

Room Hire

All function rooms are fully refurbished and the centre holds a large concert room with a full stage that seats up to 450 with a licensed bar.

The large, flexible room makes for a great wedding venue. Low cost packages are available that include disco, buffet, balloons, table decorations and much more, representing fantastic value for money. With just a £100 deposit required to secure the room, you can spread your payments across the year to help with your budgeting.

Darlaston All Active Club also specialise in room hire for birthday parties with a resident DJ plus balloon and table decorations included to add a touch of glamour. For your complete peace of mind, DAA provide security guards and wrist bands for 18th birthday parties with 'night club rules' to ensure all runs smoothly.

Catering for events is also available with a choice of menus to suit all budgets. The DAA Kitchen is also available for hire should you wish to bring in catering.

Darlaston All Active Refreshments Cafe is now open daily from 7am - 2pm and is also open for evening events.

Darlaston All Active (DAA) the story so far ....

DAA was formed in July 2008 and is now a thriving community venue, evolved from an idea that came from DAA's Project Manager, Sharon Felton.

From a very young age Sharon encouraged her son Daniel in his chosen sport of karate. Daniel was successful in his field and competed nationwide in tournaments across the country. Eventually Daniel was able to teach youngsters himself and built up a very successful club in Darlaston at the local leisure centre. This was earmarked for closure in June 2008 leaving no where for the club to go, this is where DAA really begins.

After a campaign in the local newspaper, the owner of the former Garringtons Club approached Sharon to inform her that the venue was available. The club had been closed for 15 years but Sharon saw the potential and secured funding and along with local volunteers set to work.

Research was undertaken to find out what the community of Walsall wanted and after taking all feedback on board, a number of clubs were set up at the DAA.

So far successful projects include karate, performing arts, dance groups, history events, wrestling classes, shows, live entertainment and tribute bands. Sharon believes the club caters for all people in the local community and even provides educational classes for those who want to develop their skills.

2011 Awards

We are pleased to announce that Sharon and Daniel have recently won 2 awards for their work at Darlaston All Active through WHG.
Daniel Felton won The Community Spirit Award for working with young people where they have won £1,000 from Walsall Housing Group to take the students away on a activity course.

Sharon herself was nominated and won a award for her contribution to the community for her work through Darlaston All Active again by WHG.
