The Walsall Hospice Starlight Walk took place last Friday and was a truly memorable event. Over a thousand people took part in the walk around Walsall Arboretum and lit up the lake with hundreds of glow sticks and a candle of memory.
It was good to see so many people come together for such a good cause with the crowd including families and local businesses, all walking to showing their support to the Hospice. The coronets marching band was also in attendance who added to the nights magical atmosphere.
The money raised will go towards the running of the new Palliative Care Centre that will be used to care for people within Walsall who have life limiting illnesses.
