Shambles is a genuine family-run Italian restaurant which has drawn diners to Teddington for many years. Massimo succeeded his father, Franco, in the kitchen; and Margherita stepped into Jackie's shoes looking after customers. (Except that at the moment she is on maternity leave caring for the next generation of Langellas.) If you haven't tried this restaurant you really must - you won't find anywhere better!

As soon as you walk into Shambles, the gorgeous aromas and warm ambience relaxes you. The food is delicious - I had the Carpaccio of Sea Bass - perfect, followed by beautifully flavoured Plaice. I didn't realise you could just pop in here for a coffee either and now I know, will be doing so!

The atmosphere and food are the 2 top things about Shambles. I discovered this place about 5 years ago, and although I only eat there 3 or 4 times a year, I always leave with happy memories.
The menu has the staple Italian foods, but every time I have been, there are always specials which never fails to impress. The staff are very friendly, polite and attentive. I last went a week before Christmas, and despite being busy with office parties and the like, the service was still excellent, as was the food. Highly recommended.
