Don, Nigel and their team of incredible plumbers and gas heaters are there when all else fails! Not only will they get things done in a flash but they stop the clock when they go and get materials saving me money on the bill. They also charge by the minute and not the hour which is incredible, other companies could spend 1hr 15minutes at a property and charge 2hrs, not Glow and this is why whenever I hear any problems with my client's plumbing or heating GLOW are the only company I recommend.

I received a phone call that the boiler in my tenants home wasn't working. The resident is an elderly woman and it was bitterly cold. Glow went out of there way to get an engineer round to help within 2 hours. Don was extremely helpful, professional and my tenant trusted him completely. The heating was up and running straight away. I would recommend Glow and will certainly use them again.

Having had some expensive advice from another firm I asked Glow to come and look at a problem I was having with my plumbing.
Nigel turned up and spent an hour with me working through the problems I was having and giving me good advice. The problem looks like nothing they can fix, despite me taking up an hour of his time he wouldn't take any money off me as he hadn't fixed anything.
I'll be giving him my business from here on in.

I've had call Glow Installation for a number of jobs - routine and emergency. They have been helpful, with prompt & efficient diagnosis of problem and resolution with tidy workmanship. Also trustworthy & resonably priced.
The work was carried out as per estimate. The job was completed on time. There was no mess. The plumbers were friendly, efficient, helpful and tidy.

Found Glow off this website, called them and left a message. Received a prompt call back and arranged a visit. Arrived on time, sorted the problem with our heating and the charge was quite reasonable. Everything you could want from a local heating engineer - highly recommended.

Don - you are a star! After suffering army cold showers for a week and the prospect of an expensive repair bill or replacement boiler I thankfully decided to get a second opinion and was recommended to you. You had the problem fixed within the hour - and no expensive replacement parts needed. We know the boiler will need replacing eventually - and you will certainly be our man to install it.

I must say that I was extremely pleased with the service of Glow from the time they gave me the estimate to the installation of a new boiler. The workmen were polite, prompt, and tidied up after themselves before they left each day. The standard of workmanship was high and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

It wasn't a very good start to the New Year as on 4th January a water pipe in the attic burst due to this freezing weather we've been having. It was a nightmare, there was water pouring out the front of the house from the gutter and the two front bedrooms were like a rainforest, water was pouring down through the ceilings!
We called Glow Maintenance and Don explained that we should turn off the stopcock and where we were likely to find it. We managed to find it and the water slowed down considerably. Within 40 minutes - this was on Sunday afternoon - Don arrived and managed to completely stop the water and replaced the burst pipe.
He's a really nice guy and it took him hardly any time at all to sort everything out. He also explained what our next move should be, i.e. to contact the insurance company so they can send out an assessor and also recommended a product to insulate our pipes. Very helpful, efficient and polite - would thoroughly recommend Glow Maintenance.
Glow Maintenace provided an excellent service: they were friendly, speedy and professional. A very tidy job.

What an efficient, friendly and value for money service! Itʼs great to find a company that you can trust to give you honest advice and a quick response to your plumbing nightmare! A leaky boiler is the last thing you need in a busy clinic with clients needing showers after exercising and staff needing clean hands! Thanks Donald and the Glow Maintainence team for responding quickly to my call and not taking advantage by charging the earth. Donald even chucked in some free advice on my shower pipework. It would be a waste of your time to look any further! If you need a plumber- youʼve found your guys!

What can I say - the Glow Maintenance guys are fantastic!!
From the first conversation on the phone, to Don leaving the house after fixing the boiler, I felt like I was being looked after people that genuinely wanted to help. As advertised, they only charged me for the minutes that Don was on the property - they didnʼt even charge me for the time it took them to go and pick up the new part that was required!
Don was highly professional and took far less than an hour to diagnose the problem, explain it to me, get the new part and fit it - meaning I paid far less than I would have calling out another company who would have charged me for a full hour.
A truly fantastic local company that I cannot recommend highly enough - I donʼt expect to see them again any time soon, but will recommend them to everyone I know, again and again!
Glow Maintenance claim to operate on a policy of honesty and fairness. They pride themselves on their customer service and top quality work. Yeah, yeah, we’ve all heard that before, right? However, Glow Maintenance is one of those rare companies who really practice what they preach.
They should also emphasise the fact that they offer outstanding value for money. They charge by the minute, rather than round-off to the hour like their competitors who invariably end-up charging more. Further, the quality of their work is so good that the customer often saves money by not having to make repeat call-outs.
I was so impressed with the quality of gas engineer Don Lynch’s work, that I remarked on how he could easily get away with charging more. His response was to agree with me, but added, “Just because we could charge more, doesn’t mean that we should.” Wow – a trades company with ethical decency as well as a brilliant service! Look no further.
What I like about Don is that he turns up when he says he will! On the day he came to us, he had been working since 7am and was unlikely to finish before 11pm. He quickly fixed our boiler problem for a reasonable price. He is an honest and reliable person and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone.
One day last winter I arrived home late and exhausted and all I wanted was to curl up on the sofa in the warm - unfortunately the boiler had other ideas! Don from Glow however arrived very promptly and within minutes had heated up my flat again! (And I only had to pay for the minutes he was there not a whole hour)
Don and Nigel provide an exceptional service to clients. All the feedback we have received from these Clients has been first class. Don was called out recently by an elderly neighbour of ours, who discovered water coming up through the floorboards. Don found the cause, stopped the problem, and cleared up the water. He also made her feel calm and comfortable, in very stressful circumstances.
