Medair UK has been awarded £20,000 of emergency aid to provide essential healthcare and psychological support to Syrian refugees and their Lebanese host communities.
"Our donations will help to improve the lives of thousands of vulnerable people"

Funding from the Isle of Man will help to establish three new clinics, as well as enabling three existing clinics to continue to assist some of the region’s most vulnerable families.
A further £10,000 has been awarded to Save the Children to contribute towards its projects in South America, based in Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras. Funding will help to support communities affected by dramatic changes in coffee and grain prices and to support children affected by violence and organised crime.
Phil Gawne MHK, chairman of the International Development Committee, said: ‘These charities urgently need funding to deliver emergency aid in countries scarred by conflict and natural disasters. Our donations will add to those of other nations to help to improve the lives of thousands of vulnerable people.’
