If you are looking for some gifts with a difference this Christmas then
head to Crossroads Caring for Carerers' Christmas Market in the Strand Shopping Centre, Douglas, Isle of Man every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas.  Even better news is that due to its popularity the opening times have been extended to included late night shopping on Thursdays, Friday 3 December to mark Carers' Rights Day and from the 20th to the 23rd December for that last minute shopping panic.

Alex Kennedy of Crossroads said: "We are absolutely delighted by the
support we have received from the public, the stallholders and the
Strand Shopping Centre.  I think because we have different stalls each
weekend it has given a lot of variety to the public and they keep on
coming back which is brilliant".

Carers provide valuable support within the community on the Isle of Man taking the pressure off local statutory services and enabling more people to be looked after
at home.  This year Crossroads are in line to provide 52,000 hours of
respite to carers while at the same time providing 52,000 hours of
meaningful, direct care to those with care needs, resulting in over
100,000 hours of support.
