Come along and meet the Entrepreneurs of the Future

Since September 2013 students from King William’s College, Ballakermeen, Castle Rushen, and Queen Elizabeth ll High School have been participating in the Junior Achievement entrepreneurial programme (previously known as Young Enterprise). Each year this programme provides hundreds of students with the opportunity to prepare for their working life by forming their own student company, supported by a volunteer business mentor.  They raise their own start-up capital and develop a product or service to take to market in just under five months.

At the end of all this hard work the student companies are invited to participate in a competition to win ‘The Boston Group Award for Junior Achievement Student Company of the Year 2014’. The winning team will then go on to represent the Isle of Man in the Junior Achievement European final to be held in Estonia in July.

As part of the competition each team is required to put together a trade stand exhibition. We would like to invite you to show your support by coming along to take a look at their business ideas.

The trade stand exhibition will be open to the public from 13:15 until 14:30 on Wednesday 12th March. The venue is the Cushag suite at the Palace Hotel.

Please RSVP by Friday 7th March to Joy Spence joy@jaiom.im
