T.Js Hair Rooms, formerly known as John’s Barbers, has provided hairdressing on Glen Falcon Road, (just off Broadway) Douglas, Isle of Man for the last 9 years.
Tracey Quillium, the current owner, bought the shop approximately 4 years ago and has worked hard to develop a professional and friendly team of well trained hairdressing staff to work alongside her.

Tracey Quillium has had 35 years experience barbering on the Isle of Man and worked at the shop when under management of the previous owner. Tracey admits that she loves every minute of her job and her friendly personality and natural enthusiasm has helped her develop an excellent client base over the years; many clients are now personal friends of hers. Tracey offers modern and traditional barbering services and provides honest advice on men’s hairstyles, hair care and hair products to use.

Joanna McCrae has been cutting hair for the last 18 years, having trained within the 365 Hairdressing Group in Warwickshire. Joanna is trained in Shiatsu and shoulder massage and uses these techniques on her clients when washing their hair.

Orna Lynch joined TJ's barbering team on the Isle of Man, full-time, earlier this year. She has over 9 years experience with barbering and was trained in Ireland. Orna is experienced with all modern and traditional barbering techniques.

Orna McKeever who has 14 years experience and has now been with TJ's for 5 years.

The thing that I most liked when I first found T.Js was that you can just walk in and get a haircut without booking an appointment. This is rare. I have now been a regular customer for the last 2 years and wouldn't go anywhere else as the staff are fantastic and the service is excellent. My partner now uses the downstairs ladies section and considering how important it is for her to have the right hairdresser she goes back time after time.
Having recently moved to the Isle of Man, I needed to find a hairdresser, which I was dreading, as I would rather go to a dentist than a hairdresser. Jo at TJʼs was fantastic, she listened to what I wanted and talked me through what she was doing, making me feel completely at ease and I was thrilled with the result. I would thoroughly recommend any nervous customer to put their hair in TJʼs hands!
TJʼs is the best hairdressers I ʼve been to, always a friendly atmospher, pleasent staff. Best of all is the head message, no better way to release the stress of the day. Dread the day I go bold

I have just had my hair cut at TJs and it was truely fabulous. I enjoy a wonderful hair cut and my experience at TJs was way above my highest expectations. Jo cut my hair and afterwards gave me a Shiatsu head and shoulder massage - fabulous. They cut in the professional way - a true barbers shop - no fussing around - just highly skilled - and all this with a friendly smile and laugh. I am already a gorgious looking guy but after having had my hair cut at TJs I am even better looking.
A nice atmosphere here when you get your hair cut. I hate it when a haidresser starts talking about "where are you going on holiday" and that kind of stuff. The ladies here are all friendly and chatty but do not come out with the usual haidresser banter. The barbers area is clean and comfortable and the ladies salon downstairs is light and airy. I have recommended my other half to go here and get her hair done. She is the same as me, disliking the the "normal" haidresser scenario. I know that she will recieve an excellent service by pleasant, friendly and skilled haidressers.
