It has been a great pleasure to deal with Donald of Prime Real Estate. I cannot recommend him too highly. We originally met him through looking at a house which he was selling. This was not suitable to our needs, so he looked at our present house the better to understand what we were looking for. We found his helpfulness, attention to detail, and wealth of practical and realistic advice to be quite astonishing.
Nothing was too much trouble, and he spent considerable time not only in clarifying our needs, but in giving detailed and well researched advice on modifying and improving our house with a view to marketing it more effectively. This was far beyond our expectations, and is indicative of the pride he takes in his work, his professionalism, and his effectiveness.

My wife and i have moved home on numerous occasions each time giving different local estate agents our business.
Mr Bailey of Prime real estate was so much more personal, so thorough and very professional and we realy loved the photograghs he carefully took of our bungalow.

Prime Real Estate helped us enormously this year by obtaining an excellent price for a house whose only real asset was its sea-views. Other local agents were rather pessimistic about its potential as it had been empty for several months and as well as being very much stuck in the 1970s , was distinctly lacking in ‘kerb appeal’. We had not initially approached Prime Real Estate as we knew its fees were a little higher than those of other local agents. However, wondering if the company would be able to obtain a better price for us than the highest one offered via the first agent we had chosen, we asked Prime Real Estate to market the property discreetly. After only four days – and without even a For Sale board - the full asking price was offered, in the depths of a recession! The net result was that, even after paying the agent’s commission, we were over £15,000 better off than we would have been had we stayed with the original agents. Our advice to anyone considering using Prime Real Estate would be don’t be put off by its higher commission rate; this will be more than compensated for by the fact that you will achieve the highest price possible for your house. The gentleman we dealt with was courteous, efficient and completely charming and the whole transaction was completely worry-free.

'When seeking a property in Douglas, I contacted each and every estate
agent, hoping that 'blanket cover' might provide a quick result. In truth,
it provided plenty of work for the postman (and subsequently the bin man!).
Large amounts of unsuitable and off target properties landed on my mat.
Many duplicates also arrived when agents with multiple offices all sent the
same thing. On visiting agents' offices in person, from time to time for
updates, occasional signs of disinterest were punctuated (in many cases)
with further evidence that the agent simply hadn't listened to my
instructions properly.
Prime Real Estate was different. Firstly, their mailings were minimal. I
soon realised why - they'd actually listened! What did come through was
right on target and regular personal contact showed that they really were
serious about only showing me properties that fell within all my parameters.

When the 'right one' came along (via Prime Real Estate) I was keen to buy,
and act quickly. However, trying to complete the transaction within a tight
time frame, whilst still based in the U.K. and from a vendor with a very
shaky history who had left a few casualties behind him, was daunting.

This is where I was most impressed with Prime Real Estate. They went into
overdrive, negotiating the deal, which became more complicated as time went
on. I was kept informed and included at every twist and turn, which I felt
was priceless. If I needed to speak with them out of hours, it was never a
problem, and the deal was completed successfully.

My conclusion then is this: if you want to be seen as 'just another punter',
you can choose almost any agent on the Island; but if you want positive,
accurate and genuine attention, then Prime Real Estate is the one!'
