John Wannenburg’s Sporting and Dining Club brings some of the most famous
people from the worlds of sport, politics and celebrity to the Isle of Man,
and he also uses these great occasions to raise funds for many diverse
charities. When we asked him to support Save the Children’s fundraising
Ball he was very happy to help and donated an England Football shirt signed
by the 1966 World Cup players Gordon Banks, Jackie Charlton and Nobby Styles
together with a signed photograph of Nobby Styles at the 1966 World Cup and
a Number 1 signed caricature of the legends of '66 Gordon Banks, Jackie
Charlton and Nobby Styles.

We are so very grateful to the Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club.

We recently attended the corporate event at the Mount Murray Hotel as award winning guests. They really do make the evening exciting, fun and informative with various entertainment and guest speakers. I also found it excellent for business networking.

Many thanks for allowing us to join your members on Thursday evening. We really enjoyed ourselves and found Simon Weston a real inspiration. Certainly put everything back into perspective.
What a brave man. The food was also a real credit to the Mount Murray Hotel. I did note that in 2010 you have Lawrence Dallaglio and Sir Ranulph Fiennes
coming to the island to speak Hope you do not mind but I have made a note of the dates and will contact you nearer the time to see if you have any tickets going spare.Thank you again for a wonderful evening

I went to the event organised by Isle of Man Sporting and Dining Club at The Hilton Hotel when Stella Rimington (ex-head of MI5) was the after dinner speaker. An excellent do. Brilliant food, excellent atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable event. My partner and I had a very pleasant evening and we met numerous friends and acquaintances there who were also having a great evening.
