I've had a Fantail Goldfish (Jaws) for the last 7 years, not an exciting pet I know, but I love him all the same. He hasn't been well for a while due to his age, but the Island Aquatics team spent a lot of time helping me decide on how best to treat him and extend his life. The team are always on hand to give advice, always make you feel welcome, and the store itself always feels warm and comfortable. A good range of exotic fish and aquatic pets. My 4yr old daughter loves her trips to see Nemo (the clownfish) and I can satisfy my boyish fascination with the snakes and lizards. GREAT STORE, GREAT TEAM - THANK YOU!

My first visit was Friday 4th Feb what an experience it is a fantastic place to visit,the advise was spot on all we needed to know and all we didn't know,we now have a beautiful bearded dragon and the offer of phoning,emailing or calling in if we need any advice

I have been a customer of Island Aquatics since Nigel and Paula started, I was a complete novice back then,and Nigel started me off with a simple leopard gekko. I now have quite a collection myself,several snakes,spiders,lizards and the leopard gekko! All the staff are very helpful,pleasant,and knowledgable on all aspects of their business.they are a pleasure to do business with and I hope they go from strength to strength. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. Their shop is packed to the brim, just for a mooch around or to actually buy, there's no pressure! I love going and spending time looking at the fish and having the team tell me all the ins and outs about them, it's interesting and fun!

We have just got our first tropical tank and found Nige extremely knowledgeable about how we needed to set-up it up. We have been back a few times with numerous queries and always found Nige and the staff very patient and helpful. The variety of fish available and accessories is the best on the Island and wouldn't dream of shopping anywhere else for all our fishy needs.

Island Aquatics is awesome! it's so original as no other place on the island supplies reptiles.. not that I know of anyway! It has developed so much from a small business to this big booming "industry" so to speak. My boyfriend bought his leopard gecko from island aquatics and is so happy with his purchase! :) they always have food in stock for his gecko as well. All of my family love visiting Island aquatics, its a great place and the staff are really helpful and they all know what they are talking about :D GO ISLAND AQUATICS!!!!! :D Tasha x

This shop has everything I need for my Fish, my hamsters, my cats and dogs and even my bearded dragon. I'ts the best pet shop on the Isle of Man and they always have different stuff coming in so its really exciting to go there and see whats new!

Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and most of all they know what they are talking about, I own reptiles and fish and i can find everything I need for them and more.
If I have any enquiries about my current pets or some I maybe be thinking about buying there is always someone at hand to help me and give me the advice I need to keep my pets happy and healthy...

I bought my BiOrb Tropical Aquarium from Island Aquatics back in May 2009. There is no other shop on the island that can compete with their friendly service, vast array of fish and also all-sorts of pet accessories. It's like a pet supermarket but with 1:1 service. Their technical knowledge and customer service is also second-to-none, so that's why I keep coming back!

For every Joe on the street that thinks you can buy a glass box, throw some water, gravel and ornaments in it then wander on up to the pet shop to buy "Nemo" the same day, there is a patient, knowledgeable and resourceful chap waiting at Island Aquatics to let you down gently.
It isn't a question of simply shifting units - these guys will make sure you are making the right decisions with your tank and choosing the right creatures to inhabit it. Island Aquatics deserve their popularity and their reputation.

We've been using Island Aquatics for some time now, we have dogs ,cats and fish, so can get everything we need in one go, the staff are always lovely and helpful and more than happy to chat to our children about the terrapins,snake,bearded dragons etc, Island Aquatics is often the place the kids want to visit when given the choice of what to do!

Nigel and his team are extremely helpful and knowlegeable.
I bought a Red sea Max tank from them a couple of years ago and I always go back there to buy new fish and corals.
The team always help me buy the correct items for my tank. The last time I went to the shop I was looking to buy a particular hard coral that I loved but Nigel told me it would not survive well in my tank, as it requires more light. I thought this was refreshingly honest, doing the right for his customers (and the coral) even though it lost him that sale.

I love everything about these guys, their knowledge, their friendliness and their experience. I've tried the rest but found the best in Island Aquatics! Friendly, no-nonsense advice, no hard sell, they want you to enjoy not only the shopping experience but your purchases too. Nigel has even come out to our house to help with the tank! No longer a complete novice I feel I am an established fish-keeper now and I love it, we have three tanks (with fish of course) and I saw a very nice one there yesterday I'm just wondering where I can put it.........

I have used nige and island aquatics since their start up in a garage, and the way the business has grown is tremendous, it can only get bigger and better. Nothing is too much trouble, and any special orders are delivered very quickly. I just got some live rock for my marine aquarium, and its excellent quality!!!

I have only visited Isand Aquatics a couple of times since I found out about them, but I can honestly say I will be a regular from now on. The service is fantastic and the fish are so healthy and active. There is lots of room in my tank so Nige and Paula can expect me soon - thanks guys.

I recommend Island Aquatics and indeed I am thrilled they have such a large range of varieties of Fish, tanks and equipment, what they havenʼt got they are willing to get, or at least try their best.
I find them extremely helpful, especially as I have not been a fish keeper for very long. No matter whether they are busy or not they find the time to talk to you with advice etc.,
I am waiting for their next move.... literally as they have expanded so much they need more room, people like myself asking for more.

The Island Acquatics team are fantastic. I set up an aquarium 12 weeks ago and from start to finish they have been great. I feel like a special customer every time I walk in which is now weekly, Whether it is Nigel, Sue or Frank they always remember your name and take a real interest in answering your questions or providing helpful advice. My strong recommendation is whether its freshwater or marine fish or reptiles with all the supporting equipment - you need go no further. Take the kids and go and have a look it is worth it.

Neither I nor my wife had ever kept tropical fish before, we bought our whole set up from Island Aquatics and had shopped there ever since. We have had our aquarium 5 months now and (touch wood) have not lost any of our new little friends, the advice given by Nigel and the gang is top notch and they are always happy to go out thier way to help. i have been going to island aquatics since they opened there first showroom in douglas . all the fish , tanks and equipment in island aquatics are very good quality and the best available and if they dont have what you want or need they will do there best to get it for you at a very competitive price . all the tanks in the shop are pristine .the staff are very helpful and freindly . they are all very willing to help with anything, any problems i hav had in my own tanks i have just called in and they have talked through the solutions with me . i have had two tanks from them now both 5* quality .their range of food , water conditioners and treatments is unbeleiveable they have everything you need and more ..they are alays epanding the shop every time you go in there ,there is new decor , new tanks , new colours of gravel and new species of comon and rare fish in stock .best shop on the island for anything fish .i recomend that you try these very helpful and knowlegable people at island aquatics .

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, these guys really know their fish and do not patronise the beginner! Very well stocked with lots of choice, not only in the livestock but the tanks and accessories as well. I wish them every success in their business they deserve it.
