Hospice Isle of Man - Charity

ROBIN GIBB – ELLAN VANNIN (Homecoming mix)  re-recorded in conjunction with King Williams College Choir  for Hospice Isle of Man

Robin re-recorded the Bee Gee hit single during a trip to the Isle of Man, where he was born and which he still regards as his spiritual home The music legend was so impressed with the work of Hospice Isle of Man he offered to support the charity’s fundraising efforts. He kindly gave his time and amazing vocal skills to record this brand-new version of the Manx traditional song Ellan Vannin, which sets a moving 19th century poem to stirring music.

The song has always been a favourite of the Bee Gees. Robin and his brothers Barry and Maurice, both also born in the Isle of Man.

The single,  sponsored by RBS International, is available to download now at www.hospice.org.im or www.dukevideo.com  (click  'Download Store' ) and is priced just £1.49, with all profits going to the charity.
