GIFT BOUTIQUE is the new name for Rural Arts & Crafts.
It is a fantastic destination gift shop in Castletown, Isle of Man, a minute on foot from the historical Castle Rushen and main town square. Owned and run by Julia Coué,
They have been open for five and a half years and have been called "the best little gift shop in town".
This Isle of Man gift shop has their own exclusive range of Manx inspired silver and pewter Jewellery.
Everything about this gift shop based in Castletown on the Isle of Man is unique from its setting in an historic Victorian Apothecary Shop to the delightful fusion of decorative fair trade products, stylish jewellery both silver and costume.
It is a veritable treasure trove of quirky gifts and interesting objects d'art sourced ethically from around the world. Where they lead others follow…….inspiration a plenty.
Gift Boutique based on the Isle of Man strives to find new gifts not already available in Castletown, making shopping with them interesting and fun all year round.

This shop is amazing having retained its historic apothecary drawers and shelves making it a unique shopping experience in so many ways, not least the warm and friendly, no pressure, approach of the lovely Julia who owns and runs the shop. You won't be disappointed if you visit this shop looking for a gift with a difference at the right price.
I had to buy three presents for family Birthdays. I thought I would have to go to lots of places and take a long time but at Rural Arts & Crafts which is now called Gift Boutique I was able to get all three, different gifts. A pashmina, a fairy photograph and some nice smellies. The staff were very helpful. I will be going back again.

Rural Arts & Crafts ( Now called - Gift Boutique) is a groovy little shop in Castletown (opposite the Union) It has a large variety of unique gifts for everyone! It's also great value for money, the quality of the products are very high standard & Julia is a wonderful shopkeeper who always makes you smile! In a bundle this has to be my Favourite shop on the Isle of Man!!!
The proprietor; she makes shopping there a delightful experience. There is always a warm welcolme, help without intrusion and a great variety of unusual and unique gifts that ensure I can always find that special gift.

Bought some wonderful gifts for the girls and my other half from here. Fantastic range of gifts at very good prices. Although we live in Wales I will definately be looking at their site for idea for Christmas and other occassions. The Lady was very friendly and helpful and the service was second to none!! I am a tourist that comes to the Isle Of Man yearly and I do a bit of shopping. In Castletown I went for a mooch to look for a present for my mum, ( itʼs ok, she doesnʼt use this website!), and this shop was the perfect one. Firstly, the vast range of Fair Trade products was amazing, as was the the price. But the best part of the shop was the service. Asking us for what I needed and just having a good conversation. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for gifts for their WAGʼs and mums. Fantastic shop!

If you are looking for a gift this is certainly the shop to visit . Julia is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She has a vast amount of stock a lot of which is fair trade. The goods are reasonably priced and you get a very warm welcome. What more can I say other than make your first port of call Rural Arts and Crafts in Castletown, you will not be disappointed.

I have visited this shop on many occasions and have always been able to purchase an unusual gift. With Christmas coming up, I am able to buy all my gifts and jewellery from Rural Arts and Crafts - Jula is a wonderful lady who is most helpful and gives me many gift ideas. I recommend you pay a visit to Castletown and solve all your Christmas present problems.
I donʼt know what Iʼd do without this shop. Every time I go in I find the perfect gift and Julia being the perfect shop keeper is always on hand to help if I just get spoilt for choice. Make sure you set aside extra time to browse for something for yourself. The most enjoyable retail therapy Iʼve had!
Quite simply the best gift shop I have ever shopped in. Julia is such a warm a friendly shop keeper that you feel you are shopping with a friend the minute you walk in.
I love this shop and keep coming back to it whenever I need a gift for a friend or relative, especially small wooden toys and ornaments. And I even bought a treat for myself the other day (a lovely fairtrade scarf!). Itʼs great to be able to buy fair trade products locally!
A delicious shop - a real treat for the eyes. Never be stuck for a gift idea again. Juia is a lovely person and gift wraps your goodies beautifully - great if you need a last minute present or, like me, you are useless at giftwrapping.
Discovered this gem recently, wish it had been sooner! Fabulous merchandise at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly. Went in for a browse and came away with 4 presents for friends. Intend to go back on a regular basis. A real Aladdins Cave!
For an unusual gift, at a reasonable price, I would thoroughly recommend this shop. The shop is beautifully laid out with so many things that you see something different each time you look. I was thrilled to be able to purchase presents for my sisterʼs birthday that I knew she would not have seen elsewhere and with the added bonus of being ʼfairtradeʼ. The service was very friendly and helpful with all my gifts carefully packaged. I will definitely be purchasing my Christmas presents here.
I love this store itʼs great!! There is such a variety of high quality produce which make fab gifts for in my opinion any occasion and thereʼs always something new each time I go in. Julia is really welcoming, helpful and does a great job in keeping the shop in good condition. I will definately be purchasing more from this store in the future!!!

I love this shop! So much to see, so much, in terms of ideas for gifts when you just canʼt think of that extra special little number for a friend! Been in and purchased a few things..and Julie is really frendly..which really counts! One of the best gift shops on the island and reasonably priced too!
Firstly, I found the service second to non - it was so friendly and welcoming, I was able to look around at my leisure and choose exactly what I was wanted without being rushed or feeling I was getting in the way. I now go Rural Arts and Crafts regularly to pick up gifts and scented products. There is always something new in stock which makes my shopping experience even better.
