Moore Stephens Isle of Man, leading providers of
accounting and wealth management services are to be the official
sponsors of the 2010 Douglas Bay Yacht Club Regatta, it was announced
today.

Clive Dixon, partner at Moore Stephens Isle of Man, said, “Moore
Stephens Isle of Man is only too pleased to once again sponsor the
regatta as it is one of the most exciting sports events on the Island.
In fact, the Moore Stephens yachting operation has great synergy with
the local yachting community and we are very pleased to take part.”

The regatta has been running since the 1880s and is becoming an
increasingly popular event on the Island for yacht owners, crew members
and enthusiasts as well as yachts from other Irish Sea ports.  In recent
years, it has seen a variety of yachtsmen and women competing across
three listed racing classes in an event designed to appeal to the
skilled as well as those just competing for fun.

Mike McMahon, president of the Douglas Bay Yacht Club said, “The club
would like to give sincere thanks to Moore Stephens Isle of Man for its
support and sponsorship of this year’s successful event. We are
extremely grateful for its backing and are already looking forward to
next year’s event.”

We enjoy getting out and about and meeting people and feel very much part of the local community of the Isle of Man. The people warm and friendly and the pace of life is more laid back than across - it suits us just fine!
