Thebestof The Isle of Man Networking Breakfast

A Business Networking Breakfast for business owners who are members of thebestof the Isle of Man and invited guests attended a Business Networking Breakfast at The Longboat this morning (16 March).  Each attendee had the opportunity to showcase their business with a two minute presentation about their business.

Peter Clark from Peter Clark Painters and decorators took the opportunity to thank thebestof for helping his business to grow over the last year and encouraged local businesses to embrace what thebestof offers small and medium sized businesses. Peter stated that ‘effective use of internet marketing’ as vital to the growth of businesses such as his own.’

The breakfast was held at The Longboat Restaurant at The Sea Terminal.  An excellent welcome and breakfast buffet was provided by bestof members Rob Creasey and Emma Quirk and staff.

Lynne Gumbleton, Director of thebest of The Isle of Man stated ‘These networking breakfasts are always a pleasure.  We have a diverse range of members including tradesmen, retail, hospitality as well as professionals such as accountants.  It is great to bring them together in one room and give them opportunity to meet. Everyone is a buyer and a seller after all!’

We enjoy getting out and about and meeting people and feel very much part of the local community of the Isle of Man. The people warm and friendly and the pace of life is more laid back than across - it suits us just fine!
