Forces Sweethearts’ 2009 show features all the old favourites ~ Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, Marlene Dietrich, Carmen Miranda and Anne Shelton. Enjoy two hours of favourite wartime songs with our sweethearts Beryl, Carolyn and Jenny. There’s a tribute to the demob sweethearts (Alma Cogan, Ruby Murray, Doris Day and Eartha Kitt), a sing-along with George Formby and his ukulele and songs from Glenn Miller, Judy Garland and other American stars. You’ll be singing along from beginning to end.
