Golf
One of the regions premier golf courses, The Shropshire Golf club boasts 27 holes in 3 loops of 9, each loop of varying length and degree of challenge, but all three sharing the beautiful surroundings of the Shropshire countryside. The Academy Course is a superb 13 hole, par 3 course presented to the same high standard as the main courses - perfect for regulars wanting to sharpen up their skills and ideal for families and new golfers to gain confidence whilst learning to play. A 30 bay covered and floodlit driving range means you can practice whenever suits you, and there is a dedicated short game area and two practice putting greens.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff involved with my 21st party booking on Saturday 20th October. The venue was perfect, the food lovely and the whole evening went without a hitch. There were lots of compliments on the night about the buffet so please pass on my thanks to the kitchen staff too.

Superb venue, hospitality was warm and friendly and food was fantastic.
Had a fabulous Mothers Day meal in the newly and beautifully refurbished function room overlooking the golf course. The service was excellent and the waitresses were very attentive and pleasant. There was a great atmosphere with all of the mums and kids and the food was spot on. Lovely choice of starters and the carvery was top notch ( the vegetables were cooked perfectly not cooked to mush like we have seen at other carverys). The mothers day present for all of the mums was a lovely touch. We will definitely go back again.
