The Shropshire Chamber had the Patrons Gala at the musuem. It was really good - what topped the evening off was that we won the raffle - not that I realised at the time - but now we have tickets to take the kids - bonus! Well done guys - great night...

If you live in Telford it's so easy to overlook one of the finest museums in the country which is on our doorstep and procrastinate and think "I'll go there one day". If you haven't been recently you should take your family and enjoy a step back in time. There are 10 musems to see and you and your family will be fascinated.

We visited friends in Ironbridge recently. For a special treat, we took all 6 kids to Blists Hill Victorian Town. It's a fantastic day out - the kids were fascinated by the olde worlde atmosphere, the shops, the horse & cart (what - no cars?) and the people singing the old songs in the pub. Finished with fish n chips and a small beer (not the kids of course). What a great day out for everyone.
