Both myself and my wife have been learning to dance with Mel and Donald for four years. We re-discovered Ballroom and Latin dancing after a 30 year break. When we moved to this area in 1977 we could not find anyone to teach us in Telford. We think Mel and Don are great and we are so lucky that they started Dancing with Music in this area. They compete all over the world themselves but have the patience and skill to teach pupils of all ages and abilities. We would recommend anyone to go along and have a go, where they will be made most welcome and will make new friends.

If you are looking to learn how to dance at ballroom or latin at any level, then these are your people. My wife and i went along in 2005 to the very first group class that Donald and Mel ran, we were both tentative not knowing what we were in for and two hours later we could do the basic steps of the Waltz and Cha Cha Cha and felt dead pleased with ourselves. Fours years on we havn't looked back and even though we compete regularly ourselves now, something we wouldn't have dreamt of back then, we are surrounded by many social dancers who enjoy the new pastime that we have discovered. Donald and Mel are very sociable people who get to know their pupils and teach in a fun environment. One of the keys of their success is that they not only teach you 8 dances eventually but also lay on monthly social events that give everybody the opportunity to put in to practice what they have learnt, as well as some fun party dances. Their school is for everybody, so go on, take those first steps!
