I am a professional childminder offering a welcoming, relaxed, home-from-home environment in Tamworth. A childminder offers very personalised care for the child, and many families have benefited from my long-term, consistent care, often over many years.
I have a comprehensive range of indoor toys, activities, books and arts and crafts. There is a fully enclosed garden with a wendy house, swing seat, bird table and bird bath and outdoor toys too numerous to mention.
I have strong local community links and provide a variety of outings appropriate to the ages and preferences of the children I'm a childminder for: Toddler Groups, Wilnecote library, various playgrounds around Tamworth, Kingsbury Water Park, Pooley Park, Planters Garden Centre and shopping trips. During the school holidays we go on long rambles and picnics with Casper the friendly dog and other childminder colleagues and their minded children.
The children’s favourite outing is our weekly swimming trip to Wychnor Park.
My most recent Ofsted inspection was in December 2007, with a grading of “good” being achieved in all five areas assessed.
