TAMWORTH Football Club and Wilnecote Junior School joined forces last week to raise awareness about healthy living. Jay Edwards, Tamworth FC's community manager went to the school on Tuesday to provide a day of health-promoting activities for kids. Edwards said: "This was a great opportunity for us to provide a fully inclusive day for one of our community schools."
Tamworth in The Community is running a three-day soccer school in the October half term holiday from Monday 26 to Wednesday 28 at Tamworth College in Croft Street.
The courses run from 10am-3pm daily for boys and girls aged six-14 and cost £25 with family discounts available. Courses are restricted to 80 places.
Those taking part can win tickets to a Lambs game, enter a penalty shoot-out competition and meet Tamworth players.
To book a place, call Jay Edwards on 07545 550 477 or email community@thelambs.co.uk.
