Swansea primary school wins the Swansea in Bloom award in spite of a vandal attack.
Blaenymaes school has won the award for the most colourful school garden this year.
The achievement is all the more creditable as the garden was attacked by vandals who damaged their polytunnel as well as growing plants.
The pupils all pulled together to rectify things and did such a good job that the judges were not even aware of the problems.
It was also a whole team effort with even the 2 year old toddlers getting involved in the watering.
