A remarkable story of rehousing Scottish oysters to Swansea Bay has unfolded this week.
Apparently there was a thriving Oyster fishing industry in days gone by but that was a long time ago.
A local scientist and entrepreneur has received a grant to seed the bay with 40000 Scottish oysters.
The hope is that they will flourish and reproduce and within five years herald a return to commercial fishing.
There is of course a successful oyster festival held in Mumbles each Autumn and hopefully visitors will be eating local Oysters in years tio come!
