A recent annoncement has given a big boost for the Swansea Tidal Lagoon scheme.
The firm Good Energy which has 40000 customers has invested £500000 in the project.
The company sees this as an opportunity to get involved in a large renewable energy scheme.
The Lagoon will take two years to build at a cost of £850 million.
It is likely that the project will employ 1800 people in it's contruction.
A great vote of confidence for Swansea.
