Iʼve visited the Dukeʼs Head several times over the years, and I really feel comfortable there, with just enough ʼbuzzʼ going on downstairs to make it feel less like a Hotel and more like a friendly pub with rooms. After some of the more ʼbusinessʼ class hotels, thatʼs a welcome relief.

the dukes head is not far away from where I live, so Iʼve always considered it my local pub. it feels like a really genuine old pub, which it is, but they do some great food and Iʼve stayed therea couple of times. i really like it.

Iʼve always been impressed with The Dukeʼs Head. Several Business Networking groups I attend meet there, and itʼs always nice to get the cooked breakfast of your choice freshly prepared for you. I havenʼt stayed there yet, but if the attention to detail in the foyer and function room is anything to go by, I wouldnʼt be disappointed.
