The Belfry Hotel & Resort and four of its staff have been announced as part of 59club’s Eminent Collection - which signifies the benchmark of excellence within the global golf and hospitality landscape.
The resort’s director of golf courses and estates, Angus Macleod, director of golf, Christopher Reeve, head of golf retail and operations, Tom Hughes and food and beverage manager, Jacques Hobson, were all enrolled into the 59club Eminent Collection as a result of their performance in their careers.
The Eminent Collection includes individuals and properties responsible for consistently delivering the finest levels of service within their global network.
Eligibility into the Collection is based on acquiring points for performance over a minimum of five years, with individual, team and property accolades all contributing to the success of the enrolment.
59club are the industry’s leading customer service management authority, dedicated to advancing the customer experience across golf and hospitality.
Resort director Chris Eigelaar said, “It’s outstanding to see The Belfry join an exclusive collection and to be regarded so incredibly highly in the industry.
“I’m even prouder of the fact that four of my colleagues at The Belfry have also joined the 59club, especially Jacques, who is the first ever food and beverage manager to be included.
“It’s our responsibility and pleasure to provide such an outstanding experience for our guests, and this is achieved by the hard work, dedication and inspiring leadership from the team.”
Belfry employees marked the occasion aboard the Sunburn London for a special evening to recognise those who have achieved the highest long-serving standards of customer service excellence.
