Our Place Community Hub opened in 2011 with the aims of providing a community facility in the centre of Sutton Coldfield where small voluntary and charity focused groups can deliver advice and support services to local people. A vibrant and dynamic community centre, Our Place Community Hub is a self sustaining facility born out of two derelict cottages.
Very quickly the Hub became an established 'go to' place and is now home to many vital voluntary run services including the IAG Job Club, Carers UK, Cherished, Sutton Coldfield Local and the Gap* to name just a few!
We also have small meetings rooms and a training room which are available to hire and are regularly used by our partners at Relate, Healthy Minds, Stonham and Social-eyes.
Our Place also work closely with the majority of Sutton Coldfield Schools delivering through the Our Place Mentoring Scheme. Our mentoring scheme
offers one to one and group based support to children and parents. This support is tailored to the needs of the individuals and schools and covers a whole range of issues including self esteem, bullying, friendships and anger
to some of the more complex issues such as depression, anxiety, stress and loss.
