As part of SHINE 2010 Sunderland city centre will be transformed and seen in a new light.
The FREE and Family friendly festival is set to transform venues and spaces across Sunderland, including an interactive floor projection in Sunniside Gardens, dramatic projections of giant plants and insects onto buildings and pavements along Borough Road, Fawcett Street and Athenaeum Street. The interior of the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens will be bathed in light and sound to create a magical visitor experience.
The festival runs from January 22nd -31st and tickets are available at the tourist information centre on Fawcett Street.
