Sophie's Restaurant is a popular & award winning family run French restaurant, offering fine food and fine wines, located in a typical Cotswolds Grade II listed building in the heart of Minchinhampton. Sophie's offers a daily changing lunch menu from Tuesday to Friday, and opens most Saturday evenings.

Sophie cooks French country style: dishes are simple, with the emphasis on fresh, top quality locally produced ingredients - as taught by her Basque mother.
The menu is delightfully straightforward: a set price for a two, three, four or five course meal. It is fantastic value, reflecting the overriding French food philosophy: top quality ingredients, well cooked and affordable. The 100% French wine list is selected and imported by Sophie's husband, Mark & concentrates on wines and vignerons personally known to them. Wines are also sold through Le Midi - Sophie's French Shop - and can be purchased online at www.le-midi.co.uk - alongside a range of foods, chocolates and other "foodie" items!
A new menu is decided every day, taking advantage of what's best, and in season, with fish being a particular speciality. All wines served are carefully selected to complement the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant reproduces the very best to be found in rural France.
