Sophie Dominique Craddock presents French restaurant country cooking transported to a thoroughly English Grade II listed Georgian building in Minchinhampton, in the Cotswolds. Sophie prides herself on using only the freshest, locally-sourced & seasonal produce from in and around the Cotswolds & Stroud area. Herbs and lettuce might be grown in Sophie's garden while ingredients like walnuts, quinces, almonds and chestnuts come from Sophie's own trees in her house in France.
Sophie cooks in the French country way: the dishes are simple, with no fuss or pretension, as taught by her French mother. In fact, this is the type of French food you might enjoy when visiting a French family home.

Sophie's is a popular family run French restaurant that offers a daily changing lunch menu to customers in the Stroud & Cotswolds area. Sophie's French restaurant is also open on selected evening (usually Saturdays).
