The standard of bike shops in this area varies considerably and many of the smaller shops only really cater for the basic A to B type market. I know, I've tried most of them.

Noahs Ark are a very helpful and knowledgeable bunch of avid bikers / cyclists. This makes all the difference to the experience you get (Compared with somewhere like Halfords where the guy works there because its a job, not because he lives for his two wheeled adventures)

The range of bikes and brands an Noahs is extensive and in a time when many retail shops are closing down, Noahs are thriving. Many of the High Street shops are trying to compete with the internet, cutting prices and lowering staff levels, which is great news for Noahs; as what these guys thrive at is SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE and SERVICE.

Which is, for me, well worth the difference between the internet price and the local price!

My girlfriend brought me here for the first time 18 months ago and I now regularly travel 50 miles from home because I KNOW that Noahs Ark will have the exact thing I need. This is truly a wonderful cycle shop!
