We have been going for 19 to 20 years, employed the same book-keeper for a number of those years. Elizabeth realised that this book-keeper wasn't efficient as first thought and a lot of things hadn't been done. Elizabeth was recommended BookCheck and they haven't looked back since the day BookCheck started with them. The BookCheck team are excellent; Emma is just wonderful, hard working, very efficient and lovely to work with. The management accounts are always done on time which is a real plus.

I rate BookCheckʼs payroll service 10 out 10 last year and yes I would give the same rating now; Rogerʼs knowledge of payroll is excellent. Before Majesco came to BookCheck we were posting data on large and complicated spreadsheets. Looking back I canʼt believe how long it took to prepare the accounts each month. Initially Janet from BookCheck streamlined all the data and transferred onto a Sage system - a complex process and a job well done.

We have been going for 20 years, we employed the same book-keeper for the last 15 years. We realised that this book-keeper wasnʼt efficient and a lot things hadnʼt been done. We were recommended BookCheck and we havenʼt looked back since the day they started. Anthony Pilkington, their Managing Director, visited us and diplomatically highlighted that our accounts werenʼt ship shape and that a lot of money was overdue to us. They sorted out the outstanding debts and all the loose ends - we now know what is going on.

BookCheck had first thought that we could be a postal account, but after a number of months we realised that we would prefer someone onsite who we could work closely with - this was not a problem for BookCheck who arranged for our book-keeper Emma to visit.

The BookCheck team are excellent; Emma is just wonderful, hard working, very efficient and lovely to work with. The management accounts are always done on time, which is a real plus, by another Emma from BookCheck whom is a qualified accountant. I noted how quickly she completed the VAT Return this quarter. We have been with BookCheck for around 3 years and they have fulfilled all our expectations of the level of service. Initially we prepared our own accounts but we realised that it had become more complicated. BookCheck won our account because of their Sage skills and their ability to remove our book-keeping hassle. We only spend a short time collating the information to be sent to BookCheck by post. Hassle free certainly outweighs the cost. Our external accountants like the work that is presented to them each year - it makes their job a lot easier.
