Recently there has been a lot in the national media about unemployment, the lack of jobs and benefits people are claiming.
Some of this has been the usual and expected nonsense from politicians from all sides and persuasions and some of it has been the media stirring up feelings on all sides.
What can't be denied by anyone is the fact that jobs are far and few between at the moment and that to find one is becoming an ever increasing task and source of both frustration and despair.
With this in mind last night I saw a tweet about a chap who is desperate to find a job. It seems he is trying every resource at his disposal to gain employment - from the usual applying to adverts to standing at the side of the road with a board. I don't know this person, I have no idea of his abilities or values as an employee. All I know is that he is showing initiative, drive and a desire that someone might benefit from.
