The Shakespeare Hospice provides supportive and palliative care for people and their families living with a life limiting illness.
We provide Day Hospice, Hospice at Home, family support, counselling and an information service. We can help from the moment of diagnosis through treatment to recovery or at the end of their life. Our support for the patient's family can also extend into bereavement care. We enable people to be cared for in the place of their choice, receiving high quality care in their own homes and within their local community.
Our care is always personalised to meet the needs of our patients and their families.
There is no charge for our services. We receive a small proportion of our funding from the NHS, so rely on the generosity of local individuals and companies to meet our annual running costs of approximately £1,400,000. For more information please call 01789 266 852
