The reasons I like The Stratford Picturehouse :

Going to a multiplex is like going to a burger bar. Going to the Picturehouse is like going to a good restaurant. You can even take a glass of wine and a piece of cake into the film!

A fantastic range of films (not just the blockbusters), art events, even a vegetarian wine list... the Stratford upon Avon Picturehouse is a class above most cinemas.

It's got the popcorn and fizzy drinks, but it also has great coffee, a very good wine list and a very comfortable and stylish bar. One could easily spend an entire afternoon there!

My girlfriend and I absolutely love the Picture House. It offers a more unique experience than the usual soulless multi screen venues. Not only can we see Hollywood blockbusters with a beer or two from the cracking bar but we also see a lot of films, plays and other shows we'd otherwise never get to the opportunity to experience. The Phantom of the Opera last summer was a great show and something I never would have seen! The bar is well stocked, with a great terrace and holds a weekly movie quiz. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's so much more than a cinema, more like watching a movie in your own living room!

My family really enjoy Stratford Picture House. It just the right size, the staff are welcoming and the bar is great too - a much nicer experience than the huge multi screen venues that seem to be more about burgers and pizza than cinema.

We love the Picturehouse. Apart from going to see new films, we sometimes go for a drink in the summer and admire the views of Stratford from their balcony.

The Stratford Picturehouse is a great place. They not only show current films but cater for different sectors of the community. E.g The Big Scream - for mothers and babies. The bar is a nice relaxing place to meet up for a pre or post movie drink.

What a great art house vibe, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. A visit to the Stratford picturehouse is a very enjoyable experience. You can even take your drinks into the film from the bar area!
