On a dull and dreary November lunchtime we found that Stratford's very own luxury hotel The Arden can more than hold its own in the international hospitality arena.
We had a meeting with the General Manager Jason Adams with a view to working together. Jason showed us several bedrooms, all of which were unique and individual, but also of a very high standard. Afterwards we had lunch to discuss a future partnership. During lunch several high profile hotels and restaurants from around the world which we all had visited cropped up in the conversation.
We happened to mention a recent stay in The Waldorf in London. Offered on the menu was a Baked Alaska, however when we ordered it we were told it was no longer available. Jason was surprised and although not on The Ardens lunch menu today he had a word with the chef and twenty minutes later we were sampling the most exquisite Passion Fruit Baked Alaska imaginable.
Suffice to say we went away mightily impressed with The Arden Hotel, not only due to the standard of luxury but also due to the attention to detail and the level of service and customer care Jason and his staff offer.
We cannot recommend The Arden highly enough.
