Shakespeare Marathon
Around 2,800 runners set off on the 28th annual run organised by the Stratford Rotary Club.
The majority of runners took the 13.1-mile half-marathon course through Luddington, Welford, down the Greenway to the finish line on the recreation ground. Those who ran the full 26.2-mile marathon completed the course twice.
Crowds gathered in Waterside and around the town centre to watch the runners lap the town at the start of the race, before they moved to other parts of the course to watch the home-coming.
