Refurbishment and Restyling of Restaurant 66 in the Quality Hotel is a BIG WINNER!
The soft-opening of the newly refurbished hotel restaurant "Sixty-Six" at the Quality Hotel Stoke-on-Trent took place a few weeks ago and the customer feedback is "fantastic" we have been told by Richard Marsh, GM. He says that without having marketed the restaurant yet to the local community, they have doubled restaurant takings from outside diners.

We have discovered that they are currently recruiting a restaurant manager, who can raise the restaurant's profile further and focus on attracting more diners from outside, last not least with an appealing menu and wine list.
The design project was given to Newcastle-under-Lyme's Art and Technology College students and local student Leah Bond came up with the winning design for colour scheme and artwork.
The brief was to create a new design environment that would support varying numbers of guests with full operational integrity. During a 5-week project, the floor was raised and a glass wall erected to allow for a separate private dining area and conference / meeting space. At full capacity the restaurant can serve 300 guests for breakfast and 150-175 for lunch or dinner. Equally, it was important to make smaller groups of diners feel comfortable and at ease in a spacious
restaurant.
The ensuing style is contemporary - using a minimum number of design features for maximum effect. Warm monochrome carpet, natural pale wood, large black ceiling lights, bold artwork on wall sections contrast with cream leather chairs and blinds and white table cloths, creating an elegant, contemporary atmosphere.
The official opening is planned for later in the summer.
