THis place is amazing. We held my parents wedding anniversary celebration here a few years ago, and they could not have done more for us, from a choice of rooms in advance, to flowers and chocolates for my parents, to reserving the best tables in the restaurant and bar, incredible service and food, and the wine list even kept my father happy! THere isnʼt a thing here I would want to alter. Lunch in the garden in the summer is an experience in itself, and the staff are so friendly and helpful - this is what you want from a hotel restaurant.

Wonderful stay at The George.

We stayed for just one night in an executive double room and were both impressed with the size of the room. We had a completely separate sitting room, huge bedroom and bathroom. Coffee was served in our room in the morning at a time that suited us, we than had breakfast in the conservatory. This was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had! A HUGE selection and plenty of local produce.

We would certainly stay here again.
